We manufacture our pipes in accordance with national and international quality standards, ensuring maximum corrosion resistance, durability, and reliability under challenging industrial environments.

Grade 1.4306 (X2CrNi19-11) is an acid-resistant austenitic stainless steel with low carbon, increased chromium (18-20%), and increased nickel content (10-12%). It is an improved version of 1.4307 (X2CrNi18-9 / AISI 304L), which also features reduced carbon content to prevent carbide precipitation during welding. These grades offer exceptional weldability and are widely used where standard 304 material is insufficient and increased corrosion resistance is required.

Why Compare 1.4301, 1.4306 & 1.4307 Grades?

When selecting austenitic stainless steels for critical piping applications, understanding the differences between 1.4301 (AISI 304), 1.4306 (AISI 304L - high nickel/chrome), and 1.4307 (AISI 304L - standard low carbon) is essential. Choosing the right grade impacts weldability, intergranular corrosion resistance, compliance, and cost-efficiency.

  • Grade 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10 / AISI 304): The most popular, basic, and mature chromium-nickel stainless steel grade with excellent general corrosion resistance.
  • Grade 1.4307 (X2CrNi18-9 / AISI 304L): Features a reduced carbon content compared to 1.4301, minimizing carbide precipitation during welding and preventing intergranular corrosion. Often supplied as double-certified (304/304L).
  • Grade 1.4306 (X2CrNi19-11): Features additionally reduced carbon content alongside increased chromium (18-20%) and nickel (10-12%) to provide even higher acid and corrosion resistance compared to standard 304L/1.4307.
